Meet The Team

Carol Piciullo, R.D.H.

Registered Dental Hygienist


Carol is a very popular hygienist with our practice and has a long following.  She graduated with honors in 1975 from the Dental Hygiene Program at New York City Technical College, Brooklyn, N.Y..  She's been employed as an RDH in this practice since 1988, when she moved to this area with her husband, Lou.  She enjoys treating her patients in a friendly and compassionate manner and is committed to delivering high-quality, gentle, but thorough dental hygiene therapy. 

Carol's other interests include gardening, hiking, yoga, and enjoying the company of her pet goats and cats.


Athena Blitz, R.D.H.

Registered Dental Hygienist


Athena has your dental care as her first priority.  She rejoined the practice 5 years ago after previously working here in the late 1990's.  She is a graduate of Broome Community College's School of Dental Hygiene and also attended SUNY College at Oneonta.  Athena enjoys practicing dental hygiene as she loves interacting with people and teaching others about dentistry and dental hygiene.

She happily commutes from her home on S. Mountain in Binghamton where she lives with her husband and four little dogs.  In her free time she enjoys cooking, reading, gardening, and entertaining friends and family.


Sandy Fiaschi, R.D.H.

Registered Dental Hygienist


Sandy always has a smile on behind that mask. Very pleasant demeanor and patients are acutely aware of that.  Since graduating from Broome Community College with an AAS Degree in Dental Hygiene, she has gained 25 years of experience.   Sandy also received her Anesthetic/Nitrous Oxide Certification from Hudson Valley Community College in March 2013. 

A lifelong resident of Otego, NY, she lives with her husband Clint and two children Lauryn and Caleb.  When she is not in the office, Sandy enjoys singing, playing softball, and attending her children's sporting events.


Annastasia Valmas-Mann, R.D.H.

Registered Dental Hygienist


Ana is a graduate from SUNY Broome in Binghamton, N.Y. with an AAS Degree in Dental Hygiene and is certified in Anesthetic and Nitrous Oxide administration.  She is  very thorough and conscientious about her work.  If you have any questions or oral care problems, she would be happy to discuss what preventive options  are available that would work best for you.

An Oneonta resident, she lives with her husband Nathan and three children.  Outside of the office, she enjoys practicing interior design, sharing great meals with friends and family, running, and gardening.


Danielle Mattice

Dental Assistant


Danielle has been with the practice for many years and patients are relieved when they see her familiar, smiling face.  She has completed her coursework through Elmira OCM BOCES for Dental Assisting.  She has trained well, and has mastered many duties in the office.

Danielle enjoys reading and well-deserved family time with her two sons.


Shauna Whipple, R.D.A.

Registered Dental Assistant


Shauna is a NYS Registered Dental Assistant which allows her to perform expanded duties in the course of your dental treatment. She has excellent communication skills and is ready to discuss any questions you may have about your treatment plan. Her specialty is providing in-office whitening. Call for an appointment today! 

Outside the office, Shauna and her husband Eric are busy running a t-shirt printing company, caring for their children, and keeping up with the children's sporting events.


Hope Trong

Dental Assistant


Fun....enthusiastic...knowledgeable...skilled...all descriptions of Hope, all of which give her the makings of a true team player.  Hope is starting her 6th year with the office after completing the first 10 years of her career in Cooperstown. 

She is the proud mother of two children. Her 23 year old son is stationed at Fort Bliss serving as a military police officer, whom also just gave Hope her first granddaughter, who naturally melts her heart.  Hope's daughter just began her career in nursing.

When not in the office, Hope likes cooking and nutrition, yoga and exercise, is an enviromental activist, and anything outdoors.  She participates in local events when able, and enjoys spending time with the people she loves.


Paige Brooks, C.D.A., R.D.A.

Certified Dental Assistant


Paige came to the practice as a DANB Certified chairside assistant , with her certification from the Fortis Institute in N.J..  Paige will seat you, take your X-rays, answer any questions you may have about your pending treatment, and put you completely at ease. 

A local girl, Paige enjoys relaxing in her leisure time with good food and family.


Lynne Shepardson

Receptionist


Lynne is the senior receptionist with the practice.   There's probably nothing she can't answer for you.  She joined the practice in 1997 and has gained extensive knowledge of dental procedures, as well as insurance and billing guidelines.  Lynne is a graduate of SUNY College of Oneonta with a BA in Studio Art and a minor in Art History.

When not at the office, she enjoys spending time with her daughter, reading, sewing, and running her own crafting business. 

 


Jenna Rotolo

Receptionist


It may just be Jenna's smiling face you first see when entering the office. She will get you checked in, update your health history and let the staff know that your here and ready to begin your dental experience.  After treatment, she'll discuss your treatment plan, process payments and check you out.  

Jenna is a Oneonta High School 2009 graduate and has been a nice addition to the front office staff.  At home, she enjoys the company of family and friends.


Laura Sherrill

Receptionist


Laura is very concerned about your dental health and will be calling to see if you have any questions about your care and will be scheduling appointments for you and your family.  Laura's cheerful attitude makes her well-liked by the staff and patients alike.

Laura and her family moved to Oneonta in 2005.  She and her husband have 4 children, but her favorite role is being a grandma.
